#ARCTIC. #SIBERIA. THIS IS TAIMYR. Taimyr reindeer herders and members of their families are undergoing a two-week course of sanatorium-resort and rehabilitation treatment at the Zheleznogorsk sanatorium Yubileiny. This year 14 people will rest there.
The modern complex for northerners provides treatment programs for the spine, joints, cardiovascular system, gastrointestinal tract, nervous system, respiratory system, and so on. Families from the villages of Tuhard and Nosok, as well as the villages of Popigai, Novorybnaya and Syndassko undergo treatment procedures.
Taimyr reindeer herders have been using this additional support measure for the fifth year now. Treatment can be completed in the region and Hakassia.
“All families were provided with free travel to and from the holiday destination. Over 1.5 million rubles have been allocated for these purposes”, said the press service of the Taimyr municipal district administration.
Previously, Nornickel increased support for the indigenous peoples of Taimyr.
