Taimyr prepares for world curling tournament

Athletes from Russia, Kazakhstan, Belarus and Serbia will take part in the competition.

#ARCTIC. #SIBERIA. THIS IS TAIMYR. A video meeting was held in Dudinka on preparations for the international curling tournament among mixed doubles, which will be held in Taimyr at the end of April.

The meeting participants discussed with the tournament organizers – the Nornickel company and the New League Association – the technical and information support of the competitions, the volunteers training, the organization of cultural events and the work of outdoor entertainment venues for Dudinka residents and guests during the tournament days.

This year the International Mixed Doubles Curling Tournament will take place from 20 to 26 April. It is expected that the strongest teams from Russia, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Serbia will take part in it. The official opening of the tournament will take place on April 23, the closing and awards ceremony will take place on the 26th.

Last year, Dudinka became the center of attraction for famous athletes for the sixth time: in spring, the international curling tournament Nornickel Curling Cup was held at the Taimyr Ice Arena.
