#ARCTIC. #SIBERIA. THIS IS TAIMYR. Krasnoyarskstat summed up the results of 2022 and named the most popular and rare names for newborns in the regions of the Yenisey Siberia. According to statistics, girls in the region were most often given the name Sophia, and boys – Artyom. These names also occupy the first places in the ranking of the whole Russia.
Rare names in Krasnoyarsk region for girls were Snezhanna, Radislava, Rukaiya, Aselya, Asel, for boys – Yunir, Abduaziz, Faridun, Victor Efe.
In neighboring regions, the parents’ preferences differ. So, in Khakassia, parents most often called girls Sophia, and boys – Alexander. The rarest names among girls are Zlataslava, Liana, Roziya, Anisa, Ruoyuner, among boys – Yakov, Tamir, Abdulo, Choigan, Adiyaa.
In Tuva, parents most often called their daughters Darina, and their sons Aldar. The rarest names among girls are Ai-Herena, Ai-Churehena, Aisuna, Aibelek, Yozu, among boys – Nachyn-Mergen, Suge-Maadyr, Suvud, Tengger, Demchik.
