#ARCTIC. #SIBERIA. THIS IS TAIMYR. The staff of doctors in scarce specialties in Norilsk will be replenished with second-year resident doctors and students who have completed their studies at the Krasnoyarsk State Medical University.

“Preliminarily, we are waiting for six doctors to work at city hospital No. 1 in the Oganer district: a cardiologist, a pathologist, two anesthesiologists-resuscitators, an ultrasound specialist and a radiologist. These are second-year residents specializing in narrow areas of medicine. The staff of city clinic No. 1 will be replenished by a general practitioner”, said Yulia Mironova, the acting head of the Krasnoyarsk region’s Health Ministry’s territorial department for Norilsk.

This year, 648 specialists graduated from the Krasnoyarsk State Medical University. Of these, 379 people graduated from the medical faculty, 148 – from pediatrics, 86 students became dentists, 28 became pharmacists, and seven graduated from the medical cybernetics specialty. Of the total number of graduates, more than 230 immediately went to work in the region’s district and city hospitals – they studied according to a targeted enrollment and an educational certificate.
