#ARCTIC. #SIBERIA. THIS IS TAIMYR. As part of the International Curling Tournament Nornickel Curling Cup, which will be held in Dudinka from 23 to 26 April, everyone can sign up for training with biathlon, cross-country skiing and curling instructors.
On Saturday, April 22, a ski and biathlon track with a real biathlon shooting range will open at the Taimyr stadium. The site will be a great gift for sports fans: master classes in biathlon and cross-country skiing, shooting from sports rifles, training with professional instructors – all this will be available for active lifestyle lovers aged eight years and older.
As part of the competition opening ceremony on April 23, Russian biathlon and cross-country skiing stars will hold several master classes. The Olympic Games participant, the 2017 world champion in the relay, six-time medalist of the world championships Anton Shipulin and the 2018 Olympics participant in South Korea, the bronze medalist of the 2019 World Championship in the relay, the 2016 European champion in the mixed relay, the 2020 Europe champion in the sprint Matvey Eliseyev will show the subtleties and secrets of biathlon.
At master classes in cross-country skiing, everyone will be able to learn the basics from the Olympic champion in the 50 km marathon and the silver medalist in the relay race of the 2014 Winter Olympics Alexander Legkov. Athletes will hold not only a training session, but also mini-competitions, in which all participants will receive memorable gifts.
Also traditionally there will be a curling track for everyone with professional instructors.
