On New Year’s holidays, young Taimyrians studying at boarding schools in Dudinka and the village of Karaul went to remote villages of the peninsula, from where their parents would take them to their reindeer herding camps. 185 children transported by helicopters will celebrate the new year holidays with their parents.
160 schoolchildren flew from Dudinka to the Tukhard village. 23 students of the Karaul secondary boarding school went to the villages of Vorontsovo and Baikalovsk, and two more children were taken from Karaul to Dudinka.
Let us recall that the children of Taimyr reindeer herders spend their holidays with their parents in remote parts of the tundra twice a year.
