In our country, the all-Russian mass cross-country skiing race has been held annually since 1982, for decades it has united fans of one of the most popular sports in the world. The number of participants in various regions of Russia is constantly increasing. In Norilsk, for example, a record number of athletes gathered at the XXXVIII all-Russian mass ski race last year: about 450 people took part in the race, amateurs and professional athletes. In 2019, there were 254 participants, in 2018 – about 300.
This year, more than 50 cities and regions are planning to participate in the event in the Krasnoyarsk region. In 2020, 18 thousand residents of the region took part in the Ski Track of Russia mass ski race. The race took place in 59 territories of the region.
Competitions across the country are scheduled for February 13, in Norilsk they will take place at the Ol-Gul ski base.
However, given the weather in our city in recent weeks, the competition may be postponed or canceled. In this case, the changes will be reported additionally.
