#ARCTIC. #SIBERIA. THIS IS TAIMYR. President Vladimir Putin granted the wish of an 11-year-old schoolgirl from Zheleznogorsk, Krasnoyarsk region, Miloslava Palavayeva. The girl wanted to visit the Putorana plateau, and the head of state, with the support of the Nornickel company and the regional government, is organizing this trip.
The schoolgirl wrote a letter with an appeal to the president on the New Year eve. She spoke about her hobbies in geography and history, different contests wins, and also wrote her own poems.
“I like to observe nature, to visit new beautiful places. Our country is very large, rich in nature and history. On summer vacation, our whole family study the nature and history of the Crimea. We’ve been to three cities-heroes. I know that my native Krasnoyarsk region is also very interesting”, Miloslava wrote in the letter.
February 16 – on her birthday – the girl received a certificate for a trip to the Putorana plateau. The trip will take place in the summer. Alexey Chlenov, plenipotentiary representative of the Krasnoyarsk region governor, congratulated the schoolgirl on her 11th birthday.
“Perhaps this trip will not only give you vivid impressions of the nature and grandeur of the Krasnoyarsk region, but also inspire you to write new poems about your small homeland, help you decide on the direction of your future activity”, the plenipotentiary of the region head noted.
