#ARCTIC. #SIBERIA. THIS IS TAIMYR. The forum The Nornickel. The Import Substitution is the New Opportunities will take place in the sports hall Aika in Norilsk on June 23 and 24. More than 100 leading Russian suppliers and equipment manufacturers will come to the Arctic. The forum participants’ products are not inferior in quality to the best foreign analogues.
The Nornickel is one of the first to hold such an event in Russia. Representatives of the municipality, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia, the Ministry of Industry, Krasnoyarsk region’s energy and housing and public utilities and the Norilsk Development Agency (ARN) are invited to the forum.
The Nornickel Company’s press service said:
The idea of holding a large-scale meeting at the key production site in Norilsk can be a good case for other large Russian companies, because it is especially important for domestic technology suppliers and industrialists to understand the needs and help each other to reorient today.
On the first day participants will discuss government support measures for enterprises involved in import substitution, the Norilsk division’s needs, the principles of interaction with manufacturers and incentives for entrepreneurs in the Arctic.
Nornickel’s representatives will discuss with potential partners development prospects in six areas: in the field of mechanical equipment, energy, automation and digitalization, mining, self-propelled mining equipment and transport.
On the second day the guests will visit five mines, two metallurgical plants and the Talnah concentrating plant to understand what domestic analogues and technologies can be offered.
