#ARCTIC. #SIBERIA. THIS IS TAIMYR. Nornickel’s corporate university summed up the results of the year, and 25 volunteers were awarded letters of appreciation for their personal contribution and active participation in the corporate programme The Factory of Good.
“At Nornickel, the number of employees who care is growing every year. I thank you for your contribution to the company and the region development. You don’t just help, you create real change, inspiring others by your example! This year activists organised and participated in more than 150 events, helped more than 300 residents, collected about 30 tonnes of rubbish, sorted more than 500 kilograms of recyclable materials, and held six training sessions for volunteers. These figures emphasise the importance of volunteer work and the contribution of each of you to the development of our community The Factory of Good”, said Natalia Dunayeva, head of charity and corporate community development department of the Nornickel’s Polar Division.
The award ceremony was rounded off with a team-building training session with humour I Want and I’ll Get by stand-up trainer, business coach, author of a series of antidepressant books Alena Lepeshkina (Smolensk).
“The participants of the training learnt in detail the methods of goal-setting, skills that will further help them in effective achievement of their goals. The children also learnt the secrets of why goals do not come true, that success takes time and perseverance, but with the right goals set, you can significantly increase your chances of success”, said Elena Fedorets, chief specialist of the corporate community development department of the charity and corporate community development division of the Nornickel Polar Division, supervisor of The Factory of Good project.
