#ARCTIC. #SIBERIA. THIS IS TAIMYR. A solemn ceremony of closing the 62nd Nornickel spartakiad and the opening of the 63rd one took place at the Aika sports hall.
According to the 62nd spartakiad’s results, 6 enterprise teams got cups, 4 certificates of honor, 9 thanks and 24 letters of gratitude from Nornickel Polar Division’s director Nikolay Utkin. The most active athletes and sports organizers at the company’s enterprises also received awards.
In this case, it is absolutely fair to talk about the positive example of Nornickel athletes in their own teams, which ultimately leads to better examples of teamwork. This brings a completely new healthy atmosphere into the work environment from any point of view. This directly affects the core activities of the company, for which management is grateful to its employees.
Corporate sports within the company are being developed in the professional environment of mini-football, and starting this year, hockey. Norilsk will soon see new sports facilities, with which the sports life of the territory will also develop.
“May Norilsk athletes never lose their enthusiasm, may bright victories await them. Most importantly, let there always be unity for the rapid development of sports around us”, wished Nikolay Utkin, the Nornickel Polar Branch’s director, at the opening ceremony.
