April 26, 2021

The hosts of the ice and guests from Moscow are taking part in the youth tournament.

#ARCTIC. #SIBERIA. THIS IS TAIMYR. Four teams entered the polar ice, including two away teams. Also, on the days of the games, regular seminars for hockey coaches and referees, organized by the Russian Ice Hockey Federation together with the Nornickel company, will be held.

Four squads made up of players under 15 years old: local Zapolyarnik-1 and Zapolyarnik-2, as well as the capital’s Maryino and Penguins are participating in the tournament, which is being held for the first time in Norilsk from April 25 to April 27. The games are played in a round robin system, that is, each team will play against each one for three days.

In addition, on the same days Norilsk will host the traditional fifth seminar for hockey coaches and referees. At the end of the classes, students will receive certificates of completion of the training course, which was launched in October 2019.

The program of the seminar was drawn up on the basis of Red Machine – scientific, methodological and practical developments of the National program for the training of hockey players, the general partner of which is Nornickel.
