#ARCTIC. #SIBERIA. THIS IS TAIMYR. About 400 Nornickel employees took part in the Good Christmas Tree campaign and collected gifts for little Norilsk residents: New Year’s sweets, stationery, educational toys, board games, creativity kits, encyclopedias, sports equipment and much more. All collected items were handed over to the guys from the integrated center for social services.
Let us recall that the event, organized by the Nornickel Polar division’s corporate projects department together with the Medvezhy Roochey LLC’s activists, took place from November 26 to December 12. Employees of eleven company enterprises took part in it.
The Good Christmas Tree campaign has been held for more than ten years, and every year the number of participants increases.
“This means that the action does not lose its relevance. People happily respond to the invitation to congratulate children on the upcoming holiday, prepare and give gifts from the heart. For many, the New Year is associated with a family celebration, and even those who are in a difficult situation should feel warmth and care and find their gift under the tree”, said Medvezhy Roochey LLC’s acting chief specialist Olga Virchenko.
Previously, Norilsk joined the federal campaign Christmas Tree of Wishes.
