#ARCTIC. #SIBERIA. THIS IS TAIMYR. During the volunteer campaign, from December 2022 to January 14, 2023, Nornickel collected a record amount of 1 153 269 rubles. According to tradition, the company will double the funds raised and send them to charity.
On the day of the auction, the most popular lots were a hockey helmet of the Russian national team signed by players, a hockey stick signed by Pavel Bure and a basketball signed by PBC CSKA players.
The fair continued online until January 14th.
The funds will be used to rehabilitate Maxim Ponomarev, a Norilsk resident with cerebral palsy, and Svetlana Ohrimenko with lumbo-limb muscular dystrophy will receive a special bed and a lifting device. In addition, the company will transfer funds to the Bee and Old Age in Joy funds.
“We thank everyone who helped us, whether they bought a toy, purchased a premium lot, or made a personal donation. Special thanks to our friends and partners: hockey player Pavel Bure, theater and film actor, director of the Golden Mask award Igor Kostolevsky, the Russian Ice Hockey Federation, PBC CSKA, Segezha Group, the legends of the Russian national football team and many others”, Nornickel emphasized.
Earlier, Nornickel announced that it would double the amount raised by the Russians for the rehabilitation of Dikson, a polar bear with paralyzed hind legs.
