The Nornickel company announced a minute of silence in memory of the victims. All enterprises and institutions of Norilsk and Krasnoyarsk region joined the all-Russian action.
At that moment, the broadcasts of the TV and radio companies were interrupted and the announcer Igor Kirillov applied to the Russians, suggesting stopping under the beats of the metronome and remembering the heroes of the Great Patriotic War.
In shopping and entertainment centers, cultural institutions, railway stations and airports, a minute of silence was announced over the speakerphone.
