THIS IS TAIMYR. 88 graduates of the last academic year received certificates of secondary general education with honors and medals For Special Achievement in Learning. 103 graduates of the 9th grade received certificates with honors. The city education department notes the growth of qualitative indicators of the participation of gifted children in skills competitions at the regional and federal levels. This year, 328 Norilsk schoolchildren participated in the competitions, 80 of them became winners.
On the occasion of the Teacher’s Day, the Norilsk Museum hosted an award ceremony for the best teachers. They were awarded certificates of honor and letters of thanks from the city head.
Mayor Dmitry Karasev noted the high level of education in Norilsk and thanked the teachers for their professional achievements:
“In my opinion, teaching is one of the noblest professions. It is you who every day work with the most valuable thing we have – with children. Thanks to your work, Norilsk children are among the best in terms of academic performance, not only in the Krasnoyarsk region, but also in the Russian Federation. The high level of education in Norilsk is confirmed by the large number of medalists that graduate every year, regional and federal competitions and festivals’ winners”.
