#ARCTIC. #SIBERIA. THIS IS TAIMYR. The holiday will take place this Saturday, October 24, at the Ol-Gul ski center. The organizers have prepared a rich program for the participants.
Children will be able to participate in fun starts with prizes and gifts. For beginner skiers, master classes and a test run will be held. There will be a rental of sports equipment – skis, sledges, badminton, table tennis. The photo zone will also be opened. And in the ski base cafe you can help yourself with hot food, pastries and tea.
Polina Kiseleva, director of Ol-Gul, told This Is Taimyr that this year the ski season in the northern city opens earlier than usual.
“The earliest time we opened the season was the beginning of November. This year has turned out to be a record one: because of the weather, the opening will happen a week earlier, on October 23. And the very next day we are waiting for everyone at our holiday. Welcome, it will be fun”, said Polina Kiseleva.
Citizens are expected at the health holiday this Saturday, October 24. The beginning is at 2 pm. The Ol-Gul administration asks the Norilsk residents to wear masks in the ski base building.
Skiing is popular among the Norilsk people. Every year they participate in marathons at Ol-Gul. The most popular of them is the Nornickel Ski Track.
