#ARCTIC. #SIBERIA. THIS IS TAIMYR. Norilsk City Council’s deputy Anastasia Savicheva has joined the Youth Parliament under the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation. Last Friday, she took part in the sixth meeting of the main collegial youth body of the country, which was held in Moscow, Norilsk’s official website reports.
It should be noted that for the first time, a Norilsk resident has joined the Youth Parliament under the State Duma; previously, our region was represented by young parliamentarians from other territories of the region.
“Of course, it is a great honor for me to represent all the youth of the Krasnoyarsk region at the federal level. But it is also a great responsibility. Of course, the experience of working in the youth parliaments of Norilsk and the region gave me a certain basis for new public work, but I have to study many regulatory documents, developments of other regions in order to be useful for the Youth Parliament under the State Duma and worthily represent our Krasnoyarsk region at such a high level. I thank everyone who has shown me such trust, I will do everything to justify it”, Anastasia Savicheva shared her emotions.
A number of important issues were discussed at the meeting of the Youth Parliament under the State Duma: the legislative initiatives development’s status, interim results of work in 2024, plans for 2025, and more.
We will add that Anastasia Savicheva still remains a deputy of the Norilsk City Council, she will work in Norilsk, and the new status is an additional public burden.
