#ARCTIC. #SIBERIA. THIS IS TAIMYR. The first boy born in Norilsk in 2024 was Fahreddin Dzhuruyev – the child was named after his grandfather. The baby was born on January 1 at 8:22, his height is 53 centimeters, and his weight is three kilograms and 440 grams. The baby has two elder sisters.
In total, 30 babies were born in the northern city during the first new year week: 14 girls and 16 boys.
The city head, Dmitry Karasev, came to congratulate the parents of the first child born in Norilsk in 2024.
“As you remember, this year was declared by the Russia president as the Family Year. We are reviving the tradition of giving children a commemorative medal Born in Norilsk. In the 1980s, such medals used to be awarded in the northern city. And today I’ve presented the Dzhuruyev family with medal number one in the new century”, the mayor noted.
