#ARCTIC. #SIBERIA. THIS IS TAIMYR. An unprecedented measure of support – compensation for up to 50 percent of business goods delivering cost – in 2020 was proposed by the Norilsk Development Agency (NDA). Due to the remaining restrictions associated with the pandemic, they decided to continue supporting in 2021.
It is reported that last year 130 entrepreneurs took advantage of the compensation and received over 32 million rubles, the funds were provided by the Nornickel. This year, the NDA expects to increase the number of recipients, while compensation for cargo transportation will amount to up to a million rubles.
“There are still a number of administrative restrictions for business, so it was decided to continue accepting applications in 2021. Those entrepreneurs who have already benefited from support earlier, in 2020, will be able to take part in the program”, said Roman Kulyan, Head of Investment and Business Environment Development of the NDA.
To help new participants in the preparation of applications, the NDA, together with the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of the Krasnoyarsk region, will organize an online consultation. The head of the union in the Krasnoyarsk region, Mikhail Kiselev, will tell in detail about the package of necessary documents, analyze common mistakes when submitting an application and answer all questions.
The support measure is being implemented within the framework of the Business Adaptation project in cooperation with Norilsk Nickel and the Norilsk administration.
