#ARCTIC. #SIBERIA. THIS IS TAIMYR. The traditional Podaroshnaya (eng.: Gift Shop) charity fair is not only an opportunity to make an exclusive gift for yourself and your loved ones, but also to help those who need it most.
During nine pre-holiday days in the Arena-Norilsk sports and entertainment complex, the fundraising for the rehabilitation of eight-year-old Yusif Gurbanov, a ward of the 69 Parallel charitable foundation, will continue.
From 21 to 29 December in the Arena-Norilsk sports and entertainment complex you will be able to buy handmade items made in various arts and crafts techniques: leather, ceramics, wood, jewellery, home decorations, Christmas toys, accessories, interior and decorative items, sweets and much more.
By buying gifts, Norilsk residents simultaneously help eight-year-old Yusif Gurbanov and his family to raise funds for the boy with cerebral palsy to receive on-site rehabilitation at the Chelyabinsk centre. The full course costs 334 100 roubles, but at the moment only 90 652 roubles have been collected. Yusif’s parents really need support of not indifferent northerners, as only dad works in the family, and mum spends all her time taking care of their son.
Another trip to the rehabilitation course will give an opportunity to consolidate already acquired skills, learn something new and make one more step to a healthier and happier life.
We would like to remind you that you can read the boy’s story on the website of the 69 Parallel charity fund, and online collection is also going on there. In addition, you can help Yusif and his family to collect funds for rehabilitation by sending an SMS to the number 3443 with the word фонднорильск (written in small letters), followed by a space and the amount that you are ready to transfer.
