#ARCTIC. #SIBERIA. THIS IS TAIMYR. The keys to 50 new school buses were handed over to representatives of 27 towns and districts of the region in Krasnoyarsk. Taimyr will receive two cars: one will go to Dudinka and the other to Hatanga.
The buses are specially prepared for work in the cold northern climate and meet all the requirements: yellow colour, inscription Children, reflectors, and are equipped with everything necessary for safe transportation of children. In addition, for the convenience of small passengers there is a special step, which smoothly pulls out together with the opening of the door.
“This is a northern variant. Taking into account the climatic conditions, the double-glazed buses have additional stoves. We have different temperatures, up to -45 degrees, including wind and snowstorms. The new buses allocated to us by the Krasnoyarsk region’s Ministry of Education will help to unload the existing buses. I think the children will be happy”, emphasised Pavel Tomchik, deputy head of the municipal district for social and political work, at the ceremony of handing over the keys to the new school buses.
New buses for young northerners will be sent to Taimyr with the beginning of the river navigation.
It should be noted that the equipment was purchased thanks to federal support.
