#ARCTIC. #SIBERIA. THIS IS TAIMYR. In the Krasnoyarsk region, over the past five years, two IT-Cubes and five Quantorium technology parks have opened as part of the national project Education, including four of them based on schools.
Each academic year, 1300 schoolchildren aged 12–17 study in the Krasnoyarsk children’s technology park Quantorium. Since 2022, the children’s technology park has been implementing programs for schoolchildren aged eight and older: Entertaining Robotics, Aircraft Design, Mathematics, Design and Creativity. In order to reach as many schoolchildren as possible, a mobile Quantorium – a specialized vehicle with high-tech equipment – has been operating in the region. The children’s technopark mentors come to schoolchildren in the districts by the mobile complex.
According to the press service of the regional government, digital creativity centers IT-Cube have opened in Norilsk and Krasnoyarsk. The children are taught the development of mobile applications, virtual and augmented reality, and work with big data. Over four years, four thousand schoolchildren have been trained in digital technologies.
Pupils of Quantoriums and IT-Cubes successfully participate in federal competitions. Traditionally, students of the Applied Cosmonautics direction win the all-Russian rocket-building championship Jet Propulsion.
Let us recall that the anniversary festival of the Norilsk IT-Cube was dedicated to the latest Russian solutions in cybersecurity.
