#ARCTIC. #SIBERIA. THIS IS TAIMYR. The Federal Institute of the Native Languages of the Peoples of Russia will develop an educational portal and teaching aids for studying the languages of the indigenous peoples of the North.
As a rule, indigenous children are bilingual, communicate both in Russian and in their native language: Specialists are studying this phenomenon, preparing recommendations for organizing education in a bilingual environment. Research has shown that a bilingual child learns another language more easily.
Experts are confident that children should learn and master their native language without interrupting the natural living conditions of their people.
As we wrote earlier, psychologists told why the children of the Arctic are happier than their southern peers. We also announced that an online translator will be released for the indigenous peoples of the Arctic.
