#ARCTIC. #SIBERIA. THIS IS TAIMYR. Having taken five points out of a possible eight in four matches, HC Norilsk went on the first trip in its history. Aidar Musakayev’s boys will make their first stop in Perm, where they will meet with Molot. Then games will follow in Izhevsk, Naberezhnye Chelny and Neftekamsk.
The Permians started the season with two victories, defeating Southern Ural in a shootout and then Chelmet in overtime. However, after that, a bad streak came for Sergey Berdnikov’s team – three defeats in three meetings and only one goal scored. Molot have not scored for two matches in a row, and only ten players can boast of scoring points. It is also worth noting that the Permians have not yet converted a single power play this season.
The Norilsk team is approaching the meeting in Perm in an excellent mood after a 2:1 victory over Bars Kazan on their home court. In total, the northerners managed to hit the opponents’ goal nine times, with seven goals coming on the power play – with an indicator of 25.9 percent, the home team ranks fifth in the league.
The match against Molot is of particular importance for Norilsk striker Denis Mihnin, who recently moved to Musakaev’s team from Perm.
