#ARCTIC. #SIBERIA. THIS IS TAIMYR. A charity project Give Food! has started in Norilsk, within the framework of which everyone can provide food assistance to people in need. Boxes for collecting donations were installed in two stores located in the central district of the city and in the Talnah district.
As the boxes fill up, the project curator, together with volunteers, will deliver food packages to low-income large families, single parents, disabled people and retirees. To get help, one has to leave a request on the site dariedu.ru.
“We will provide donations to low-income citizens. Before rendering assistance, we plan to check the corresponding status. Further, the volunteers will deliver the food. Now we need caring people who are ready to become part of our team”, Julia Stankova, curator of the Give Food! project, chairman of the All-Russian Society of Disabled People in Norilsk, explained.
In Norilsk the project will expand.
“Regardless of the city, food aid is always in demand. We have joined the project in order to contribute to helping the needy Norilsk families and pensioners. As soon as we improve the work algorithm, we plan to install boxes in other stores”, said Victor Ivanov, operations director of the Ocean retail chain.
Note that the Give Food! charity project has been helping people in need with products since 2016 in 144 Russian cities.
