#ARCTIC. #SIBERIA. THIS IS TAIMYR. This year, speakers, experts and social activists are again ready to share their ideas and vision for the city development, which will make the north of the region more attractive for the mainland residents.
The first social technology forum was held in 2014. Over ten years, it has become a center of attraction for those who care what city they live in and who are ready to make it better and more convenient for their fellow countrymen. Among those present at the opening of the forum there were those who did not miss any of the nine events. According to these participants, Norilsk is a city where 24 hours a day is not enough for all the ideas, where people are filled with new initiatives, where life is in full swing day and night and everything needs to be done in time. Norilsk is a city where words do not differ from deeds, and the word “deed” means cool projects that give the city and its residents a second wind and get rid of the currently fashionable diagnosis of “stagnation.” Norilsk is a city of life and perpetual motion, and all this is thanks to the people living here.
Traditionally, at the 2024 forum, effective practices for transforming the city and its residents will be presented and new topics for further work will be identified. But most importantly, 2024 has become the time when most of the forum’s presenters and experts are Norilsk residents, and discussions and dialogues will be based on local experience and knowledge, and external developments will be adapted to northern conditions, characteristics and mentality.
