#ARCTIC. #SIBERIA. THIS IS TAIMYR. Specialists from the Levinskiye Peski village’s club began implementing the Campfishing project as part of the Nornickel company’s World of New Opportunities charity program. The main objective of the project is to organize a fishing club for children aged 5 to 14 years.
During the project, children will gain in-depth knowledge about the history of their village and survival in the tundra. The children will also take part in amateur fishing competitions, quest games and quizzes, which will expand their social circle and provide interesting and useful leisure time. It is expected that the parents’ participation will strengthen family ties, develop family hobbies and common work.

The club’s grand opening took place on March 17. The head of the family-tribal community of indigenous peoples of the North Orodoy Tatyana Kondratyeva held game fishing competitions and an interactive program to recognize the breeds of Yenisey fish.
The organizers express their gratitude to the project partners – D.G. Bettu’s farm and the family community Chelke Taba for their assistance in transporting the village schoolchildren studying in the city of Dudinka and their parents to the event and back.
Previously, the best fishermen of Taimyr got boat motors and bonuses.
