#ARCTIC. #SIBERIA. THIS IS TAIMYR. A unique for the Arctic zone project is being implemented in Norilsk: four six-story residential buildings will be built using information modeling technologies. The deputy minister of Construction of the Territory Elena Zvonareva told about this at the All-Russian forum Smart City.
The houses will be erected as a part of the city socio-economic development plan. According to the region’s government, the Russian modular system Exon makes the design process transparent and convenient: you can work with the documentation and information models of the objects under construction in one browser window.
According to Elena Zvonareva, the use of such technologies will make it possible not to wait for flying weather, and then to carry documentation for Stroynadzor (Eng.: Construction Supervision Service) for two and a half hours, which delays commissioning.
“We will spread this experience to other regions and the federal level. And if it works out in the Far North, then the more southern regions will have no excuses”, said the deputy minister of Construction of the Russian Federation Konstantin Mikhailik at the forum.
