Most of the quarterfinal pairs of the 2020/21 Russian Cup have become known. One of the most principled and tense confrontations will take place between the clubs from the Arctic and the Urals – the current trophy holder Norilsk Nickel and the strong Sinara.
The winner will be announced after two meetings. The matches are scheduled for November: on the 19th, the opponents will reveal the strongest in Norilsk, and on the 26th they will take to the floor in Yekaterinburg.
In the previous stage of the rally, in the 1/8 finals, the northerners defeated Spartak Moscow. The Urals, in turn, broke the resistance of the Golden Eagle from Stavropol.
We add that the winner of the Polar-Ural duel will meet in the semifinals with the winner of another quarterfinal pair: Gazprom-Yugra (Yugorsk) – New Generation (Syktyvkar).
