#ARCTIC. #SIBERIA. THIS IS TAIMYR. Since 2019, as part of the Nornickel’s corporate volunteering program Combine of Good, the New Year’s charity fair Volunteers in the City has been held in all territories where the company operates.
Everyone is invited to participate: company employees, their family members, partners and friends of the corporate volunteering program.
The fair is held in a hybrid format. Anyone can purchase an item they like at a fixed price online on the website волонтерывсити.рф.
“When choosing a souvenir, you are redirected to the payment page, where you can enter the donation amount and provide contact information to which the fair curators will send the purchased item”, said the organizers.
And on December 16, an auction will be held in the studio with online participation from the regions where the company operates with the participation of volunteers from the Murmansk region, Norilsk, Moscow and Chita.
Especially for the fair, activists create unique handmade lots – toys and the coming year symbols, soap, paintings, candles, clothes, postcards, perfume and much more.
Every year the fair assortment changes, but one thing remains unchanged – all souvenirs are prepared by volunteers and members of their families from Norilsk, Krasnoyarsk, Moscow, Monchegorsk, Pechenga district, Chita, Gazimuro-Zavodsky district and Saratov.
Every year Nornickel doubles the amount of donations, all funds go to charity.
In 2023, all proceeds will go to rehabilitation courses for Milana from Norilsk, as well as to wheelchairs for children: Makar from the Murmansk region and Nastya from Chita. In addition, oats will be purchased for the Red Book bison from the Ugra national park.
Let us remind you that 11 enterprises of the company took part in the Good Christmas Tree the Nornickel Polar Division’s campaign.
