#ARCTIC. #SIBERIA. THIS IS TAIMYR. The marathon began on the Instagram account of the Nornickel’s corporate projects management. 15 people have already become its participants.
The start of the bidding campaign was announced on January 19. Every week, as part of the marathon, they publish recommendations on nutrition and physical activity, as well as general rules of a healthy lifestyle that are useful to everyone.
For participation, those interested sent short stories explaining the purpose of participating in the project, and a photo at the moment, so that after the end of the marathon to see the results. To assess the intermediate results during the marathon, they will be given control tasks: pick up things from a wardrobe, which after three months – that is how long the marathon will last – will fit the person perfectly.
One will need to post photo reports on the competition tasks on Instagram weekly. According to the project authors, such tests will help people notice their results and not turn off the chosen path. At the end of the project, the jury will select the winners and owners of valuable prizes in a number of categories, which are now being determined. Memorable gifts will be given to each participant.
But the main advantage of the marathon, the organizers believe, is that everyone who subscribes to the corporate projects management page can take part in it.
“Everyone sets their own goal: someone wants to lose weight, and this is the most common reason for interest in the marathon. This is normal, because during the period of the pandemic, we moved less, and many noticed that on their figures. The marathon will also allow to acquire and consolidate useful habits, which will then serve good after the end of the project”, said the Nornickel’s corporate projects management’s specialists.
The marathon will end on April 13.
