#ARCTIC. #SIBERIA. THIS IS TAIMYR. In 2024, additional quotas will provide communications to another 59 settlements in the region, Nikolay Raspopin, Krasnoyarsk region’s minister of digital development, announced in his Telegram channel.
In total, the list includes 11 locations related to the Taimyr territory, including Vorontsovo, Dikson, Katyryk, and Hantayskoe Ozero.
The minister noted that the list is not complete, and additional quotas are planned throughout the year.
“As part of our regional state program Development of the Information Society, an additional list will be determined based on the results of the second competitive selection. As part of the federal project, we are counting on an additional quota for the Krasnoyarsk region. Taking into account all the lists, we plan to provide more than 70 villages with mobile internet this year”, he wrote.
Let us remind you that settlements with a population of 100 to 500 people can participate in the federal program, and up to 1000 people – in the regional program.
