#ARCTIC. #SIBERIA. THIS IS TAIMYR. On April 9, Norilsk will host a charity match between the Hockey Legends and the Night Hockey League for the fourth time.
Multiple Olympic and world champions Vyacheslav Fetisov, Alexey Kasatonov, Valery Kamensky, Alexander Mogilny, Andrey Kovalenko and other eminent hockey players will take to the ice of the Arctic sports palace. The popular TV commentator Dmitry Guberniev will be the star presenter of the evening.
“The total sum following the results of the three previous games was more than eight million rubles. These funds were used to purchase sports equipment and simulators for the sports schools pupils, as well as to pay the costs of their participation in competitions”, the organizers said.
The famous forward, Russian Rocket Pavel Bure, who turns 50 today, March 31, will not be able to come to Norilsk this time.
“As always, all the funds raised will be doubled by Nornickel and will be used to develop ice hockey in the Arctic. Unfortunately, this time I will not be able to come, but even from a distance I will take part in this program. On social networks, I launched the #СыграйКакБуре (Play like Bure) contest for residents of Norilsk and Dudinka. The winners will be awarded during the match”, Pavel Bure said.
May we remind you that according to the terms of the competition, which is held only for residents of the Big Norilsk, participants should repeat the jukes of the legendary player and post them on Instagram with the hashtag #СыграйКакБуре (Play like Bure). The winners will be determined by the number of likes collected in three categories: among children, adolescents and adults – participants of the Night Hockey League.
Also, the hockey legends will hold a traditional master class for young players and meet with hockey fans. The meeting will take place in the new Aika sports complex, which was opened in December last year.
