#ARCTIC. #SIBERIA. THIS IS TAIMYR. Olesya Muranova, 12 years old, from a low-income family, asked Father Frost to give her a mobile phone. The girl’s wish was fulfilled by the head of the United Russia faction of the Norilsk City Council Dmitry Karasev.
“I am very pleased that this gift allowed to make Olesya a little bit happier. It is important that our children believe only in the best, be happy and healthy”, said Dmitry Karasev.
And 12-year-old Kristina Abrakshina – a child with disabilities – has long dreamed of a set of children’s books by foreign writers. Her wish was fulfilled thanks to the director of the Youth Center, the secretary of the party branch Gulnara Elmurzaeva.
Let us remind you that the all-Russian charitable action Christmas Tree of Wishes has been held since 2018. Seriously ill children, disabled children, children from low-income families and orphans leave their dream letters in the Christmas tree. This year more than 10 000 Russians have taken part in the action. Russian president Vladimir Putin is traditionally the first to fulfill a dream, and the heads of the regions join him.
In Norilsk, the charity event will last until the end of January and will end with the celebration of the Day of Happy Snowmen and the Day of Father Frost and the Snow Maiden.
