At a meeting on the city’s social policy, the Norilsk administration decided to extend registration and participation in the race for a week. Natalya Solodovnik, chairman of the Territory of Goodness foundation, also said this.
“There is an opportunity to become participants in a good deed within the week. The electronic platform runs until July 25. The weather promises to promote active participation of Norilsk residents in the race”, she said.
Let us remind you that the sixth charity race “Norilsk, run with me!” started on June 17, the minimum participant fee is 200 rubles. This year NordStar airline is the general partner of the marathon.
The charity run has already helped 17 Norilsk children with difficult diagnoses to undergo treatment in the best Russian and European clinics and get good results.
“Kilometers of goodness collected by the race participants will be converted into miles by NordStar and donated to the fund. This is a truly magical gift for the beneficiaries of the Our Children program. We hope that there will be enough good kilometers”, noted Natalya Solodovnik.
According to her, the fund welcomes everyone who loves running and is ready to help people: athletes, amateurs, families and just friendly companies. Help is now being provided to two Norilsk children with cerebral palsy. Andryusha Mihailov, 7 years old, is awaiting rehabilitation at the Prognoz children’s neurological center in St. Petersburg (cost 150 thousand rubles), and Stepa Kirp, 13 years old, is awaiting rehabilitation at the Sakura medical center in Chelyabinsk (cost 307,850 rubles).
“You can participate in the marathon in any suitable way and anywhere: at home around your favorite ficus tree, on a treadmill, stairs, in the office (running on the spot), down the street and in a thousand other ways. Or just support the race and add your kilometers of goodness to the common stock”, added the head of the charitable foundation.
