About one and half billion rubles to be sent to Arctic Children program

Summer rest for schoolchildren is fully paid for by the state.

#ARCTIC. #SIBERIA. THIS IS TAIMYR. It is reported that in 2023–2025, the program Children of the Arctic will take 1.35 billion rubles. Recall that the program allows schoolchildren from the Arctic Zone of the Russian Federation (AZRF) to have rest in summer at the resorts of Russia. The state pay for vouchers and travel.

In 2022, 500 million rubles were sent from the federal budget for the program, 9.6 thousand children were able to rest – on the coasts of the Azov, Black, Caspian, Japanese seas, in the Republic of Adygea, at the resorts of Caucasian mineral waters. The duration of the rest was 21 days.

In 2023, 899 children from Norilsk will receive free trips under this program and at the expense of the city budget. Also this year, more than 600 pupils of the Norilsk sports schools will be able to go to different competitions. Last year, more than 3800 children of the city employees rested outside Norilsk.
