In September, 179 babies were born in Norilsk: 87 boys and 92 girls. Twin couples were born – sisters and a brother and sister.
Most often, women became mothers aged 30–34 years. Less often – from 45 years and older, in September only one Norilsk woman was noted in this age group. But at once 10 women received the status of mothers at a young age – 18-19 years. For 72 women, this was the second birth, four women gave birth for the fifth, seventh, eighth and ninth time.
Since the beginning of the year, 1 653 babies have been born in the city, more often girls have been born – 846. Among the newborns there were 17 twin pairs, more often pairs of brothers and sisters were born. There were nine very young mothers – at the age of 15-17. For 63 women it was the fourth birth, for 13 – the fifth, for two – the eighth, three women gave birth for the sixth, seventh and ninth time.
From year to year, the number of newborns changes little, say the specialists of the perinatal center: from January to September 2019, 1 670 babies were born. But twins – 27 pairs at once, more often they were brothers (in 14 cases). In September last year only five twin pairs were born. By the way, a little more children were born in September 2019 than in the current one – 188. For 622 Norilsk women in 2019, the first births took place, for ten – the fifth, for three – the sixth, two – the seventh, and one more gave birth for the eighth time.
