100-year-old Norilsk woman got congratulations from president

The Russian president Vladimir Putin, Krasnoyarsk region head Mikhail Kotyukov and Norilsk mayor Dmitry Karasev congratulated the northerner.

#ARCTIC. #SIBERIA. THIS IS TAIMYR. Nina Tsvil celebrated her 100th birthday on February 6 – Dmitry Karasev congratulated the woman. The Norilsk head solemnly presented the hero of the day with a congratulatory letter from Russian president Vladimir Putin and a memorial address from the Krasnoyarsk region Governor Mikhail Kotyukov.

The Norilsk mayor read out the text of the congratulatory letter from the Russian head:

“You suffered the difficult trials of the Great Patriotic War – the difficulties and hardships of the post-war period, but you and all our people persevered, saved the country, retained faith in a just cause, in goodness and justice. I wish you all the best”, the president’s letter says.

Congratulations on this holiday came from governor Mikhail Kotyukov:

“Dear Nina Vasilievna! Please accept my most sincere congratulations on this significant date. Your biography is an example of hard work and devotion to your native land. You represent an amazing generation of Russians, tempered by the truly great trials of the war years and selfless work in peacetime. The path you have traveled is worthy of sincere admiration. We bow down for everything you did for the Motherland, for our present and future. I wish you good health, high spirits, prosperity! May your every day be warmed by the care of your loved ones”.

On his own behalf, the Norilsk head wished Nina Vasilyevna good health and prosperity.

“I’m glad to see you in good health and well-being. 100 years is a serious age! I am sincerely glad that we have the honor to congratulate you on your birthday”, added Dmitry Karasev.

Nina Vasilievna Tsvil was born in the village of Udalevka, Loevsky district, Gomel region. Since the beginning of the Great Patriotic War, 17-year-old Nina lived in the territory of Belarus occupied by the Nazis. After the liberation of her native village by Soviet troops, she worked on a state farm.

Since 1953, Nina Vasilievna carried out her work in Ryazan. Her total work experience is more than 50 years. Nina Vasilievna is a veteran of the Great Patriotic War; she has honorary titles and medals for her work during the war years.
