#ARCTIC. #SIBERIA. THIS IS TAIMYR. The cluster construction includes the creation of a coal mine with a capacity of five million tons per year at the first stage and ten million tons per year at the second one, an enrichment plant, a seaport on Yenisey, a highway, a shift camp, an electric power plant and an airfield construction.
“Coal from our northernmost – Syradasai – deposit went for loading. Here, much is defined by the word “the most” – the conveyor, technology, sea vessels. Despite all the difficulties, the Yenisei Siberia CIP is growing with real deeds. The Northern Star project in Taimyr is a real breakthrough”, the Krasnoyarsk region governor Alexander Uss said on his Telegram channel.
The total volume of explored coal reserves in Taimyr is 5.7 billion tons. The products are going to be exported to China, Turkey, Vietnam and Brazil. The project is expected to create at least 2 000 new jobs.
Recall that in the spring, Anabara Diamonds geologists began active exploration in Taimyr, and unique drilling complexes began to operate at the Payahskoye field of the world’s largest investment project, Vostok Oil, which is being implemented in Taimyr.
