The innovative technologies of Industry 4.0 are already being actively used in production and in business activities, and the powerful IT infrastructure created as part of the digital transformation made it possible to respond as quickly as possible to the serious challenge of the past year and ensure the continuity of the company’s activities in the context of the coronavirus pandemic”, Nornickel noted.
At the Mining Goes Digital forum session, the head of promising projects at Nornickel, Ivan Kuzmenkov, spoke about the company’s leadership in the mining and metallurgical business through the introduction of innovations using the example of tokenization of sales contracts on the Atomyze blockchain platform.
“This solution allows to use modern digital tools for transparent settlements when selling products to consumers directly – banks, refineries, global traders”, said Kuzmenkov.
This year, in the MineDigital competition of the forum, the project of Nortech, the Nornickel’s IT branch – the Implementation of Autonomous and Remote Control of the LMS at the Skalisty Mine projects took the third place, and in the MineHR competition Nornickel received the highest expert marks and the first place for the program Who Cares.
