In 2010, the Ministry of regional development of the Russian Federation, the Krasnoyarsk region administration, the City of Norilsk municipal formation and the Nornickel company signed an agreement on interaction and cooperation between the modernization and development of social, engineering infrastructure and housing stock in Norilsk.
As a result, from 2011 to 2013, 14.3 kilometers of collectors were repaired. In 2012, the company reconstructed the sports complex of the Zapolyarnik stadium, purchased and installed a football floor at the stadium.
In 2013, two new kindergartens were built and put into operation in Norilsk, and in December 2020, a sports and recreation center was constructed and put into operation.
