#ARCTIC. #SIBERIA. THIS IS TAIMYR. The review competition for the title of Best Crew based on the results of navigation has started in the Yenisey river shipping company (YRSC). This is the 14th competition in the region. The commission includes specialists from various ERP departments. The jury will evaluate the vessels’ condition and the work of the crews that have applied for participation.
A point system is used to evaluate compliance with navigation safety and labor protection requirements, the condition of the mechanisms on the vessel, documentation and other indicators. In addition, the absence of accidents, incidents, comments from inspectors, and disciplinary sanctions is of great importance.
“The review competition Best Crew helps maintain the prestige of the profession at a high level, promotes labor productivity and ensures navigation safety. It encourages river workers to improve discipline, improve their skills, be equal to the best and try to surpass them”, said Yenisey river shipping company executive director Yevgeny Grudinov.
The winners will be awarded at the end of the 2024 navigation season. The crews will be presented with diplomas, bonuses and valuable gifts for first, second and third places.
Recall that YRSC cargo turnover this year is provided by a total of more than 400 vessels. The company carries out its main transportation for Nornickel. It was planned that during the 2024 big navigation season, the shipping company would transport 3.5 million tons of cargo.
