The expositions take place in the museum exhibition space and open on the eve of The Photographer’s Day, July 12. According to the organizers, the exposition should reflect modernity in photography, and show the best works created over the past year.
The participants of the final photo exhibition are authors whose works are competitively selected. It can be photo series about the city and the nature of Taimyr, photo stories about the indigenous people life, Norilsk people everyday life – an author’s view of life in the Arctic. This year, the topic Life in Self-isolation is predictably to appear.
Photo reports and a series of works from 4 to 12 copyright photographs united by a common theme and performed in any genre: city landscape, nature, people, places of interest, events are accepted. An important requirement: images should be taken in Taimyr and Norilsk last and this year.
In 2019, 45 applications were submitted to the exhibition. Viewers saw the best works of the best photographers: Alexander Kharitonov, Alexander Alexandrov, Vitas Beneta, Denis Kozhevnikov and others at the vernissage in the city museum.
