#ARCTIC. #SIBERIA. THIS IS TAIMYR. Rosatom State Corporation has announced the selection of a recipient of a subsidy from the federal budget for the creation of a Northern Sea Route (NSR) digital ecosystem.
We are talking about creating an ice navigator. The digital ecosystem includes the installation of on-board automated information and measurement systems on ships in the NSR water area, as well as on ice reconnaissance aircraft and helicopters.
The generated array of information about weather conditions, the location of ships and icebreakers, the workload of ports will fall on a single platform of digital services of the NSR, where registered users – cargo carriers, shipowners, ship captains and insurers will be able to work with it.
In January 2023, the Russian Federation government approved a subsidy of 3.8 billion rubles for the NSR digital ecosystem creation, which will unite all electronic services for participants in the logistics market. Development is scheduled to be completed by mid-2025.
Applications for the right to receive a subsidy are accepted until March 12. It is planned to announce the winner by March 17, to conclude an agreement with him until April 6, 2023.
Earlier, This Is Taimyr wrote that the port of Dudinka would be used to ship coal through the Northern Sea Route to Asia. Last year, the volume of traffic in the NSR waters exceeded forecasts. We also reported that the nuclear-powered icebreaker Ural laid a new canal on the Yenisei, and the joint project of Rosatom and Nornickel – Polar Lithium – received the right to use the largest lithium deposit in Russia – Kolmozersky in the Murmansk region.
